Prof. Dr. Denny Nugroho Sugianto, S.T., M.Si. has an extensive academic background in marine and ocean sciences. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Science at Universitas Diponegoro in 1997, followed by a Master’s Degree in Oceanography at Institut Teknologi Bandung in 2001. He later earned his Doctoral Degree in Coastal Civil Engineering from Universitas Diponegoro in 2014.

His main academic specialization is Physical Oceanography, integrating scientific principles with applied coastal and marine studies. Currently serving as the Rector of IKMB, Prof. Denny plays a central role in academic governance, institutional leadership, and strategic development in higher education.
